Screw the dead, literally, with the new ‘ashes dildo’
Losing a loved one can be hard, but now you can have your lost love ‘hard’ within you with the new ‘21 Grams’ ashes dildo. Dutch designer Mark Sturkenboom released a new design for what he calls a ‘Memory Box’, containing a dildo with a compartment for storing the ashes of your dead lover. The blow-glass dildo holds exactly 21 grams of dead person, and the handy clear glass of the device itself allows you to also see the ashes you’re fucking. The ‘21 Grams’ product comes in a wooden box, much like the one your partner was cremated within. Each box is hand sanded and can only be open by a golden key which can be worn as a necklace.
However the dildo itself isn’t the only item. The 21 Grams box acts as an ‘experience’, and includes an amplifier for playing music from an iPhone, and includes a scent diffuser for that 4D (dick) experience. The item acts as a connection between life and death, and offers a new way for partners to grieve the death of a lover.
After a passing, the missing intimacy with that person is only one aspect of the pain and grief,” says Sturkenboom. “This forms the base for 21 Grams. The urn offers the possibility to conserve 21 grams of ashes of the deceased and displays an immortal desire.

For Sturkenboom, 21 Grams is a memory-box that allows a widow to go back to the intimate memories of a lost beloved.
By bringing different nostalgic moments together like the scent of their perfume, their music, reviving the moments, it opens a window back to moments of love and intimacy,” says Sturkenboom.
The ‘21 Grams’ is handmade to order, and can be personalised to the requirements of the customers. And although you can’t be sure what parts of your lover's body you’re storing inside the device, for a grieving partner it doesn’t really matter.
